Using Tools to Save Your Hands

The Achilles heel of most Massage Therapists is their hands.

Although wide assortments of tools are available, many MTs never avail
themselves to this recourse because they have no training in the safe
and effective use of tools.
This course provides hands-on training
in the safe and effective use of hand-saving tools that allow you to
provide quality deep-tissue massage without damaging your
hands.

Specific massage techniques and methods of applying pressure with
tools are taught with a focus on using the Hand-L and knobble.  The
limitations, cautions and contraindications of these tools are
discussed.

Techniques using the Accu-force 2.5, Accu-force 7.0, Glide-point, and
selected polished stone tools are also demonstrated and discussed.

Learn to differentiate between these tools in order to select the
appropriate tool for different needs.  Demonstration and hands-on
practice will allow you to develop confidence using tools safely and
effectively to accomplish deep-tissue massage goals without
compromising your hands.
